It is no longer true that everyone knows the difference between right and wrong. All mankind has been equipped by the Creator with a moral conscience, but this inner sense of "right" has been sorely obscured by sin and human philosophy. The heart of man is unchanged. A heart that is full of sin cannot be made more full. However, restraints are gone, and the line of separation between good and evil has almost disappeared. Sin and evil are not new, but at least in the past, the wrong was correctly labeled. Today men "call evil good, and good evil." They "put darkness for light, and light for darkness" (Isa 5:20). This mixture of light and darkness is the masterpiece of Satan (2 Thess 2:7).	모든 사람이 옳고 그름의 차이를 알고 있다는 것은 더 이상 사실이 아니다. 모든 인류는 도덕적인 양심이 창조자에 의해 수여되었지만 이 "올바른" 내적 감각은 죄와 인간의 철학에 의해 심하게 가려졌다. 사람의 마음은 변함이 없다. 죄로 가득한 그 마음은 더 채울 수 없다. 그럼에도 속박은 없어지고 선과 악의 구분선은 거의 사라졌다. 죄와 악은 새로운 것이 아니지만 적어도 과거에 그릇됨은 올바르게 분류했다. 오늘날 사람들은 "나쁜 선과 선한 악이라 칭한다." 그들은 "어둠으로 빛을 삼으며 빛으로 어둠을 삼고"(사 5:20). 이 빛과 어두움의 혼합물은 사단의 걸작이다(살후 2:7).
Even genuine Christians are affected by this sad mixture of right and wrong. Almost anyone can identify as being evil such sins as "adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings and such like" (Gal 5:19-21). Are we only commanded to be separate from the world of drugs, murder and immorality, or are we called to follow the footsteps of our Lord (2 Cor 6:14-18)?	심지어 진실한 그리스도인도 선과 악의 이 슬픈 혼합물에 의해 영향을 받게 되었다. 대부분의 사람들이 그러한 죄들을 범한 것을 확인할 수 있다, "곧 간음과 음행과 부정함과 색욕과 우상 숭배와 마술과 증오와 불화와 경쟁과 진노와 다툼과 폭동과 이단 파당과 시기와 살인과 술 취함과 흥청댐과 또 그와 같은 것들이라"(갈 5:19-21). 우리는 마약, 살인 및 음란의 세상에서 분리되도록 명령되었는가? 또는 우리들의 주님의 발자취를 따르라고 부름 받았는가?(고후 6:14-18)
When it is difficult to distinguish right from wrong, a few good questions can help.   Is this deed obedience to God’s Word or disobedience? "To obey is better than sacrifice" Duty is good, devotion is better.   Can I do it in His Name (Col 3:17)? Is it acting for Him? Is it for His Glory? Can I give God thanks for it? Will it conform me to the world? Will it lessen my appetite for the things of God? Will it decrease or increase my love to Christ? Will it help or hinder my worship? Is it a redeeming of the brief time I have left in this world? Is it seeking satisfaction elsewhere than in Christ? Remember a little of this world or all of it cannot satisfy the heart. Is it destroying my desire for the pure Word of God? Will it stumble others? This is a serious possibility - stumbling a weak brother (1 Cor 8 & Rom 14). Would I want to be doing it at the moment of the Rapture?	선과 악을 구별하기가 어려울 때, 몇가지 좋은 질문들은 도움을 줄 것이다.   이 행위는 하나님의 말씀에 순종인가 불순종인가? "순종이 희생헌물보다 낫고" 의무는 선하다, 헌신은 더 선하다. 그분의 이름으로 그것을 할 수 있는가?(골 3:17) 그것이 그분을 위한 행동인가? 그것이 그분의 영광을 위한 것인가? 그것 때문에 하나님께 감사를 드릴 수 있는가? 그것은 나에게 세상과 어울리게 하는 것인가? 그것은 하나님의 뜻을 위해 나의 욕구를 줄이는 것인가? 그것은 그리스도께 대한 나의 사랑을 줄이는가 증가하는가? 그것은 나의 예배를 돕는가 아니면 방해하는가? 그것은 이 세상에서 남겨진 짧은 시간을 도로 찾는 것인가? 그것은 그리스도보다 다른 곳에서 만족을 찾는 것인가? 이 세상 작은 것이나 그 모두가 마음을 만족시킬 수 없음을 기억하라. 그것은 순수한 하나님의 말씀을 위한 나의 열망을 파괴하고 있는가? 그것은 다른 사람을 넘어지게 하는 것인가? 이것은 심각한 가능성이 있다 - 연약한 형제의 넘어짐(고전 8장과 롬 14장). 휴거의 순간에도 그것을 행하기를 원하는가?
